After driving by this place every day.  My wife and I thought we'd try it for dinner on the weekend.  We walked in without reservations.  The restaurant was dead empty except for staff.  We were told they were booked solid.  I looked around around at the empty space and and gestured with an open arm and said Really there isn't an opening?  I glanced down at the book and saw that 5pm -6pm was empty.  I took note of my clothing. dress shoes, button up collared shirt wool jacket.  I had put on deodorant that day.  The hostess was bitchy and the decor was a half finished or failed attempt to be something trendy.  Our waitress, however, was ebullient and quick.  The flavor of our food was excellent however portion size was lacking.  I ordered ravioli and received 6 pieces on my plate.  Dessert was fantastic.  Too bad we had to start off with such a poor personality for our first impression of the place....
