-.5 for batman's voice. Which is the only thing bad I can say. After so much hype regarding this movie and Ledger I was prepared to be savagely disappointed. At 2.5 hours long, it goes by really quickly. I read some complaints about choppy editing but never felt that at all. Two-Face was done well, but I was disappointed to see him gone already. Yes the Joker is everything people have been swooning over. I was one of the poeple that thought Heath Ledger for the Joker? Really? Seriously the guy from a knight's tale and the patriot? But his performance is oscar nomination worthy. You never see heath ledger on screen just the joker vs what other people have described as the Joker as Jack Nicholson. But different directors seeking different performances and all that aside. This joker is very real and I must say I was one of the people laughing when he made the pencil "disappear"...

GC Fogle and I stood around the bar in my basement and talked about doing something together. I said I have these characters that I've drawn that I'd love to build a story around. GC said I hate you. I said that's okay it will be fun. He smashed his bottle on the ground and declared that this wretched buffoonery could do nothing but prevent him from his calling. I said it will be a comic. He decreed that comics are the filth of the literary wasteland. I said I'll do it in color. He stormed out in disgust knocking my vonnegut bobblehead to the floor, shattering it. 3 weeks later I had his first draft via Postage Mail....

The Bake Sale

While their songs have traveled much over the internet before this release, (but whose don't these days?) was happy to see the album available on iTunes this week. Infectious to say the least. If you like Eric B and Rakim and Ugly Duckling and wish they'd made an album together this is the candy for you....
