Finished reading Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon. For me when it's a great book you feel a small letdown when it's over like a friend moving away. Great characters great setting fun read. It's more like vineland than gravity's rainbow.
Friend of mine passed along this playlist of all the songs mentioned in the book.

Ah the front man from The Make-Up has a new album out under Chain and the Gang called
Down With Liberty... Up With Chains!
Listening to the previews the song Unpronounceable Name hints at the J.B.'s with a touch of garage and spoken word.
Miss the Make-Up. Great shows with matching outfits pre hives.
Man listening to this song feels like the halfway point through a road trip with a good friend. That part of the trip where the scenery is flying by you've run out of things to say but in a great mood and looking forward to getting there.
Maybe the trip is in a '62 Chevy Biscayne all white with plenty of room and a cushy suspension. could use a little TLC on the paint but that's for another time.
I need some summer......
Busy busy busy since last post. Kindredmarket.com will relaunch with a bunch of new brands, new functionality and a new look May 1st. So excited to see what people have to say once it's done.
um. ouch. this one easily falls to the bottom of the pile of Coen brothers movies. It was actors playing the caricatures of who people think they are. Some funny moments but Intolerable Cruelty was better than this.
